Mr. Goldstein is Managing Partner at GPI. With over 35 years of experience in the real estate industry, Mr. Goldstein is recognized as one of the leading commercial and multifamily real estate developers in California.

Beginning in 1992, Mr. Goldstein helped lead the retail division of the J.H. Snyder Company, spearheading the development of signature, destination retail projects. These projects included premier complexes such as The River in Rancho Mirage and West Hollywood Gateway as well as extensive renovation projects such as the 790,000 square foot Bella Terra in Huntington Beach, an urban entertainment and retail center. Mr. Goldstein also played an integral role in two of Southern California’s most successful commercial complexes: the one million square foot Wilshire Courtyard in Los Angeles’s Miracle Mile district and the 1.2 million square foot Water Garden office campus in Santa Monica.

Mr. Goldstein is the past Chairman of the Los Angeles region of the American Jewish Committee and currently serves on the National Executive Council and as the Associate Chair of the Board of Trustees. Mr. Goldstein also serves as a Trustee of Washington Institute and is a past Board Member of Rand Corporation Middle East Center. He is a past president of the Sportsmen’s Club, the largest fundraising auxiliary for the City of Hope National Medical Center, served as a Trustee of the Los Angeles based Alternative Living for the Aged, and is currently an Advisory Board Member for the Los Angeles Alliance for a New Economy. Mr. Goldstein holds a B.S. and a M.P .A. from the University of Southern California. Before returning to Los Angeles to begin his career in real estate, he served as a United States Presidential Management Intern in the Reagan Administration.

Mr. Planting is Managing Partner at GPI. Prior to establishing GPI, Mr. Planting was a Senior Partner at the J.H. Snyder Company, where he created and directed the company’s value-added acquisitions division, which provided a profitable element to the firm’s already robust development activities. While at the J.H. Snyder, Mr. Planting was responsible for acquiring over one million square feet of commercial office and retail. Under his aegis, these assets were rehabilitated and stabilized, and then exited for maximum equity returns.

Prior to joining the J.H. Snyder Company, Mr. Planting was a partner at Maguire Partners where he headed the development and leasing of the 3.6 million square foot commercial component of Playa Vista (part of the 1,000 acre master-planned mixed-use development of the former Howard Hughes aircraft plant).

Mr. Planting received his B.A. in Economics with Distinction from the University of California, Berkeley. He is the former board chair of the Hollywood Partnership (BID) and serves on the Board of Trustees of Loyola High School. He is a guest lecturer at the UCLA Anderson School of Management and the USC Lusk Center for Real Estate Development.

Mr. Wagman is Managing Partner at GPI. He is a long time leader in the real estate industry having served as President and CEO of The Hahn Company and its successor, TrizecHahn Centers. Both were a part of Trizec Properties, a $5B publicly traded REIT. In this capacity, Mr. Wagman headed one of the largest shopping center companies in the United States with 43 regional malls and 1,700 employees. During his tenure, the company developed several precedent-setting projects, including Park Meadows in Denver; Paseo Colorado in Pasadena; West End City Center in Budapest, Hungary; and expansions of Horton Plaza in San Diego and Prudential Center in Boston.

Mr. Wagman served as Vice Chairman of CityView, a leading real estate investment firm focused on urban residential and mixed-use properties through multiple institutional funds; and was the founder, Chairman and CEO of Hycel Properties Company in St. Louis where he developed and owned the Saint Louis Galleria, one of the premier retail properties in the U.S. Mr. Wagman began his career as an attorney at the international law firm Bryan Cave, LLP.

For over 25 years, Mr Wagman has served as both a Trustee and Vice President at ICSC, and with ULI. As the founding Chair of ICSC’s Mixed-Use Committee, he has twice chaired its highly successful Mixed-Use Conference in addition to serving as Chair of ULI’s Place Making Conference, Chair of ULI’s Entertainment Retail Conference, Chair of the ICSC Spring Convention in Las Vegas, and Chair of ICSC’s Entertainment Conference.

Mr. Wagman is a graduate of the Young Presidents Organization (YPO), a member of YPOG, and Past Chair of YPOG-LA. He has served on numerous civic, corporate, charitable, and university boards. Mr. Wagman holds a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania, a B.S. in Economics from the Wharton School, and a J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School.

Mr. Franciski is a Partner at GPI Companies, where he has been a key leader since joining the firm in 2013. Over the years, he has been instrumental in shaping GPI’s investment strategy, including acquisitions, underwriting, due diligence, and financing. Under his leadership, GPI successfully completed 18 acquisitions with total capitalization exceeding $1 billion, along with securing over $1 billion in loan proceeds through 22 financing transactions from prominent money center banks, regional banks, debt funds, and life insurance companies.

Prior to joining GPI, Mr. Franciski was part of the Corporate Finance department at Equity Office Properties. During his tenure, he prepared valuation models for over six million square feet of office space and managed investment-level performance models for $21 billion in investments made by The Blackstone Group.

Mr. Franciski holds a B.S. in Business with a concentration in Finance and Real Estate from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University.

Michael Woods is a Partner at GPI. He is the Portfolio Manager overseeing the Asset Management Department as well as GPI’s institutional and non-institutional investment funds. During his almost twenty-year career in the commercial real estate industry, he has underwritten and closed on acquisitions, dispositions, developments, and redevelopments with a capitalized value in excess of $1.4 billion (representing over 5.3 million square feet). Prior to joining GPI, Mr. Woods worked at Regency Centers, a national owner, operator, and developer of retail properties.

Mr. Woods earned his M.B.A. with distinction from the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business and received his B.A. from Georgetown University. He currently serves as a member of the Loyola High School Physical Resources Committee as well as the Westside Neighborhood Council.

Mr. Akhtarzad is a Partner at GPI. He spearheads the firm's acquisition strategies across diverse asset classes and leads the development of multifamily projects, most notably Nine Thousand One and Overland & Ayres. His strategic vision and extensive industry expertise drive innovative developments to not only meet but exceed market expectations, setting new standards for quality and innovation in multifamily living.

Before joining GPI in 2018, Mr. Akhtarzad was part of Colony Capital's Corporate Finance and Acquisitions division. There, he played a key role in a variety of opportunistic transactions across both real estate assets and operating companies.

Mr. Akhtarzad holds a B.A. in Business Administration from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan.

Fredrik Wahlstrom is Senior Vice President Financial Services at GPI. Before joining GPI, Mr. Wahlstrom was Controller and Vice President of Accounting and Finance at Griffin Capital Company in Los Angeles. Prior to joining Griffin Capital Company, Mr. Wahlstrom was the Manager of Financial Reporting at The Irvine Company, one of the largest privately held real estate companies in the United States. During his five years there, Mr. Wahlstrom managed financial reporting processes and helped to oversee the Company’s debt compliance. Mr. Wahlstrom began his career as an auditor at Arthur Andersen.

Mr. Wahlstrom earned a BA degree in Business Economics with an emphasis in accounting from the University of California, Santa Barbara and earned a Certified Public Accountant designation in 2004.

Mr. Tabak is the Director of Asset Management at GPI. Mr. Tabak has extensive experience in asset management, most recently with Redcar Properties, where he focused on redeveloping underperforming properties. Previously, he worked for Bellwether, a boutique asset management firm retained on an exclusive basis by Oaktree Capital.

Mr. Tabak received his B.A. in International Relations from Johns Hopkins University, and earned his MBA and Masters in Real Estate Development from the University of Southern California.

Mr. Taylor is a Director at GPI Companies, where he focuses on evaluating and executing new investment opportunities, as well as overseeing development and asset management activities across the firm. Before joining GPI in 2021, Mr. Taylor worked at Tishman Speyer in New York, where he was responsible for acquisitions, asset management, equity capital markets, and portfolio management. He began his career at Ernst & Young, where he contributed to building their Fairness Opinion practice.

Mr. Taylor earned a B.S. in Management, with a major in Finance and Accounting, from the Carroll School of Management at Boston College.

Ms. Zheng is a Director at GPI focusing on acquisition evaluation, pre-development, development, and construction. Prior to joining GPI in 2023, she specialized in luxury resort renovations and commercial redevelopment projects at an entitlements, planning, and landscape architecture firm. With expertise in design and construction administration, she has managed notable projects such as the Four Seasons Ko Olina Resort and One Hotel Hanalei Bay.

Ms. Zheng earned her Master of Real Estate Development from the University of Southern California and holds dual master’s degrees in City Planning and Landscape Architecture from Cornell University. She is also a licensed landscape architect in the State of Hawaii.

Oliver is an Associate at GPI assisting in the assessment and execution of new investments as well as development activities across the firm. Prior to joining GPI, Oliver was a Summer Intern at Eastdil Secured where he focused on the investment sales of various asset classes and performed comprehensive market analysis and due diligence.

Oliver received his B.A. in Business Administration from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan.

Brett is an analyst at GPI Companies, where he plays a key role in analyzing market trends, assessing investment opportunities, and supporting strategic decision-making across the firm's diverse portfolio.

Brett received his B.S. in Business Administration from the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California.

Ms. LeTourneau is the Controller at GPI Companies, responsible for running the accounting department, analyzing financial data, and creating financial reports and statements. Prior to her current role, she worked at CIM Group, overseeing various accounting responsibilities for a large real estate investment platform. Ms. LeTourneau began her career in real estate accounting at Occidental Entertainment Group Holdings, Inc.

Ms. LeTourneau holds an MBA with an emphasis in Finance from Pepperdine University.

Ms. Handy is Accounting Manager at GPI and is responsible for the investment financial reporting. Prior to joining GPI, Ms. Handy was a consultant at RGP Consultants focusing on providing financial and accounting expertise to clients in various industries.

Ms. Handy has a BS in Business Administration from California State University Northridge, a UCLA certification in Project Management, and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Dara DeJesus is an Accounting Manager at GPI Companies. She is responsible for day to day operations for GPI Companies' projects.
