Alex Akhtarzad

Mr. Akhtarzad is a Partner at GPI. He spearheads the firm’s acquisition strategies across diverse asset classes and leads the development of multifamily projects, most notably Nine Thousand One and Overland & Ayres. His strategic vision and extensive industry expertise drive innovative developments to not only meet but exceed market expectations, setting new standards for quality and innovation in multifamily living.

Before joining GPI in 2018, Mr. Akhtarzad was part of Colony Capital’s Corporate Finance and Acquisitions division. There, he played a key role in a variety of opportunistic transactions across both real estate assets and operating companies.

Mr. Akhtarzad holds a B.A. in Business Administration from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan.
