Lee Wagman
Mr. Wagman is a Managing Partner at GPI. He is a long time leader in the real estate industry having served as President and CEO of The Hahn Company and its successor, TrizecHahn Centers. Both were a part of Trizec Properties, a $5B publicly traded REIT. In this capacity, Mr. Wagman headed one of the largest shopping center companies in the United States with 43 regional malls and 1,700 employees. During his tenure, the company developed several precedent-setting projects, including Park Meadows in Denver; Paseo Colorado in Pasadena; West End City Center in Budapest, Hungary; and expansions of Horton Plaza in San Diego and Prudential Center in Boston.
In addition, Mr. Wagman served as Vice Chairman of CityView, a leading real estate investment firm focused on urban residential and mixed-use properties through multiple institutional funds; and was the founder, Chairman and CEO of Hycel Properties Company in St. Louis where he developed and owned the Saint Louis Galleria, one of the premier retail properties in the U.S. Mr. Wagman began his career as an attorney at the international law firm Bryan Cave, LLP.
Mr. Wagman has been closely involved with ICSC for 25 years, serving as both a Trustee and Vice President, and with ULI. He is the founding Chair of ICSC’s Mixed-Use Committee and twice chaired its highly successful Mixed-Use Conference and served as Chair of ULI’s Place Making Conference, Chair of ULI’s Entertainment Retail Conference, Chair of the ICSC Spring Convention in Las Vegas, and Chair of ICSC’s Entertainment Conference. Mr. Wagman is a graduate of the Young Presidents Organization (YPO), a member of YPOG, and Past Chair of YPOG-LA. He has served on numerous civic, corporate, charitable, and university boards. Mr. Wagman holds a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania, a B.S. in Economics from the Wharton School, and a J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School.
