Michael Woods
Michael Woods is a Partner at GPI. During his ten year career in the commercial real estate industry, he has underwritten and closed on acquisitions, dispositions, developments and redevelopments with a capitalized value in excess of $600 million (representing over 3.5 million square feet). He has extensive experience overseeing all aspects of the institutional approval process, including financial analysis, underwriting, transaction due diligence, and operational accounting. Prior to joining GPI, Mr. Woods worked at Regency Centers, a national owner, operator, and developer of retail properties. He is an active member of the Urban Land Institute and the International Council of Shopping Centers and holds an active California real estate license.
Mr. Woods earned his M.B.A. with distinction from the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business. He received his B.A. from Georgetown University, where he led several campus ministries and was elected an officer of the Georgetown rugby team. He currently serves as an alumni mentor with Loyola High School’s Alumni Mentoring Program and as a lector at St. Paul the Apostle Church.
